Community Service for Probation Violation

A client who initially fled from probation in 2018 asked attorney Tiffany DeBruin for help getting a second chance so that he could legally leave the state. He had already had 2 violations prior to absconding and it was not looking good for the client.

Attorney DeBruin contacted the client’s probation officer and worked with the client over several months to complete the requirements related to his previous misdemeanor conviction as well as made additional recommendations to help the client when it came time to turn himself into the Lenawee District Court on the probation violation warrant.

After listening to DeBruin’s arguments and noting the client’s progress, the judge ordered the individual to pay a fine and complete 40 hours of community service. The case is now closed, and the client free to move on with his life.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
