Client found not guilty of domestic violence in Grand Rapids, December 2021. The client was charged with domestic violence in Kentwood district court in conjunction with a divorce case between the parties. The complainant alleged that there was a domestic violence incident and had bruises on their arms from a physical altercation.
Attorney DeBruin prepped the client to testify and after the client’s testimony, we proved that it was a cash grab by the spouse/complainant and that the client was acting in self defense.
